Repairing (Replace) Sony Alpha 77, A77 Back Screen Flex Cable

My Sony a77 SLT camera, which I’ve used for about 13 years, suddenly had its rear screen turn off while I was using it indoors for film scanning, and I panicked. I didn’t know if the cable was broken or if the screen itself had reached the end of its lifespan. After some thought, I opened the back and found that the cable was indeed broken, so I ordered a replacement part. I successfully repaired it. I found a post by Tim very helpful, and I’m grateful to him. I’ve also included detailed photos and a video of the repair process. I hope this helps others with the A77 model, which has a known issue with the flex cable breaking. 약 13년 정도 사용한 나의 소니 a77 SLT 카메라가 필름스캔 등으로 실내에서 사용중에 리어스크린이 꺼져서, 당황했음. 그리고, 케이블이 고장난것인지, 스크린 자체가 수명을 다한건지 알수 없었음. 고민하다가 뒷쪽을 열어보니 케이블이 끊어져 있는것을 확인하고, 부품을 주문했음. 고치는데 성공하였음. 참고한 자료는 Tim의 포스팅이며, 감사드린다. 추가로 세부적인 사진과 동영상을 첨부함. 고질적인 flex 케이블 끊어짐이 있는 A77 모델의 수리에 도움이 되었으면 좋겠음.

The silver part was a bit long, so I wound it around once before inserting it.
The flat cable was difficult to insert, but using plastic tweezers made it somewhat easier. It seems like using two tweezers to insert it simultaneously would work even better. Metal tweezers would likely be risky.

This part is prone to breaking, but because I could check it without disassembling the camera, I ordered the cable and attempted the repair. 이부분이 잘 끊어지는데, 카메라를 분해하지 않고도 확인할 수 있었기 때문에 케이블을 주문하여 수리에 도전함

I printed out these photos, and as I loosened each bolt, I placed it in its corresponding spot to prevent mixing them up. I printed them in white to save toner. Feel free to use them if you need them. 이런 사진들을 출력해 놓고 여기에 하나씩 볼트를 풀때마다 제자리에 두어서 볼트가 바뀌지 않게 하였다. 토너를 아낄수 있게 하얗게 출력하였다.필요하시면 잘 쓰시기 바란다.

Spare Part Order. However, the thin, silver-colored metal cable was a bit longer than the original part. So, I wrapped it around once before inserting it, and it works perfectly. 그러나 은색으로 된 금속의 얇은 케이블은 원래 부품보다 다소 긴 감이 있음. 그래서 한번 감아서 넣었고 문제 없이 동작함.
